Atherstone Big Weekender
Our very first full weekend event in the heart of North Warwickshire. With crafts, food, live music and entertainment across the two days, there really is something for everyone. Family fun guaranteed with this local event being hosted across Atherstone town centre.
Saturday 1st June in The Market Square
8.30am – 1.00pm – Atherstone Teen Market – support up and coming young entrepreneurs as we host the first ever Teen Market for Atherstone in collaboration with NWBC. Support our local young crafters, makers and entertainers by coming along. Hosted in Atherstone Market Square, we are also pleased to welcome Luv2Disco with some excellent tunes all day!
3.00pm – 11.00pm – Live Music Performances, Food & Drink.
We are really pleased to welcome 5 local bands and performers to Atherstone Market Square. With food from Carvery Kitchen and drinks from the amazing local square pubs.

Sunday 2nd June – town wide 10.00am – 3.00pm
Market Stalls, Food, Stilt Walker, Magician, Circus Skills Workshop, Face Painting, Classic Cars, Woodland Crafts for Kids and SO MUCH MORE – ALL DAY
We are really excited to be hosting a Dog Show in the carpark of Riversmeet Vets, who are kindly sponsoring the event. We will also welcome Animals at Home who will provide canine refreshments and shade.

Travel by Train

Parking
We are trying our hardest to leave as many car parks in the town available to park in. Parking on a Sunday is FREE OF CHARGE. Parking can be found:
- Sheepy Road Carpark
- Station Street
- Bus Station
- Council House Carpark
- Atherstone Leisure Centre
- Dr Surgery Ratcliffe Road (not in the Dr spaces)

Road Closures & No Parking
Parking
From 10pm on Friday 31st May there is no parking on Church Street or the Market Square until Sunday 2nd at 5pm
From 10pm on Saturday 1st June no parking in Woolpack Way carpark until Sunday 2nd June at 5pm
Road Closures
On Saturday 1st June, Church Street will be closed from 1pm.
On Sunday 2nd June, Long Street, Ratcliffe Street and Sheepy Road will be closed from 8am
